Building Sustainable and Scalable Digital Products.

Product engineering, SaaS architecture, and the engineering practice behind AI-assisted development.

Services

code

Custom Development

Web applications, marketing sites and mobile products built in React, Next.js and TypeScript — with performance budgets, accessibility and cross-browser behaviour treated as requirements rather than afterthoughts. Seventeen years of delivery inside long-lived codebases for banking, insurance, retail and global pharmaceutical clients.

Fixed-scope projects, or ongoing delivery alongside your team.

workflow

AI-Native Development Enablement

Most teams adopted AI coding tools and stopped there. Output went up, and so did the volume of code nobody has genuinely reviewed.

We set up the practice around the tools: per-repository context files, clear boundaries on what gets delegated and what never does, review gates before merge, and session patterns that hold up on a large codebase. Delivered by an engineer who ships production software this way daily — and whose seventeen years are what catch generated code doing something plausible and wrong.

2–4 week setup with your team. A written playbook stays behind. Optional monthly retainer.

checklist

Production Readiness Audit

A fixed-scope review of a product about to launch, or one already live that nobody has checked. One document at the end: what is wrong, what it could cost, and what to fix first.

We examine Core Web Vitals and real-world performance, accessibility against WCAG, database access control and privilege boundaries, payment and webhook correctness under provider retries, scheduled work that can fire twice, SSL and DNS hygiene, and whether you would find out tonight if the product went down.

One week. Fixed price. Remediation quoted separately.

layers

SaaS Architecture

The foundation decisions you only get to make once: where multi-tenancy is enforced, subscription billing that survives the same webhook arriving three times, background work that does not send the same alert twice, an API contract documented before anyone asks for it.

This is not advice from the outside. Kikloper — our own monitoring product — runs in production on exactly this architecture: tenant isolation enforced in PostgreSQL rather than application code, Stripe in live mode, scheduled pipelines, a documented REST API and a published mobile client.

Architecture review and plan, or build-with-you from zero.

group

Fractional Engineering Lead

For teams of two to five developers with nobody whose job it is to set the bar and hold it. Code review, architecture decisions, engineering standards, and bringing junior developers along.

Led by an engineer who ran a ten-person frontend team for seven years and introduced code review to a department that had never practised it.

Weekly or bi-weekly days. Three-month minimum so the standards take hold.

monitoring

Monitoring & Maintenance

Uptime, SSL expiry, domain renewal and performance regressions watched continuously and reported monthly — plus the engineering hours to fix what surfaces. Because "it has been fine so far" is not monitoring.

Runs on Kikloper, the monitoring platform we build and operate ourselves.

Monthly retainer, per site or per portfolio.

Founder's Expertise

Webicha was founded by Murat Bandakçıoğlu, Founder & Principal Software Engineer, who brings seventeen years of web engineering to every engagement.
His delivery record spans banking and payment systems (Garanti Payment Systems, Denizbank), insurance (Avivasa, Anadolu Sigorta), retail (Beymen, Boyner), travel (Miles&Smiles) and global pharmaceutical brands (GSK, Novartis, Roche) — the last of these under the accessibility requirements that regulated sectors impose. For seven of those years he led a ten-person frontend team and introduced code review as the department's quality standard.
Most recently he designed, built and launched Kikloper end to end as a single engineer: a Next.js and TypeScript web application, a React Native mobile client published to both app stores, a documented REST API, and Stripe billing running in live mode. Webicha's architecture and reliability practice comes from operating that product, not from reading about it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What services does Webicha offer?

Webicha delivers custom web and product development, SaaS architecture, and three focused engagements: AI-Native Development Enablement, which establishes the engineering practice around AI coding tools; Production Readiness Audits, a fixed-scope review of a product before or shortly after launch; and Fractional Engineering Lead, a senior engineering voice for small teams. We also provide ongoing monitoring and maintenance retainers.

How do engagements usually start?

With a conversation about what you are trying to ship and what is in the way. For most clients the lowest-risk first step is a Production Readiness Audit or an architecture review — a bounded piece of work that produces something useful whether or not we continue together.

Get in touch at [email protected] or call +1 (505) 370-3525 to discuss your requirements and technical architecture.

Who leads engineering at Webicha, and is this a team or a single engineer?

Software architecture and engineering are led by Murat Bandakçıoğlu, Founder & Principal Software Engineer, bringing seventeen years of hands-on experience in scalable digital products.

Webicha is a focused studio. Engagements are led and delivered by the founder, with specialists brought in when a project requires them. You work with the principal engineer throughout rather than being handed to a junior after the proposal.

We already use Cursor and Copilot. What does AI-Native Development Enablement add?

The tools are the easy part. What usually goes missing is the practice around them: how context is given to the model so its output fits your codebase, which tasks should never be delegated, what has to be verified before a merge, and how to spot generated code that looks correct and is not. We set that practice up with your team and leave a written playbook behind.

What exactly do we receive from a Production Readiness Audit?

A single document covering performance, accessibility, data access control, payment and webhook correctness, scheduled-job safety, infrastructure hygiene and monitoring gaps — each finding with its likely impact and a priority. It takes one week at a fixed price. If you want the issues fixed, that is quoted separately and you are free to take the report to anyone else.

Can you work with our existing codebase, or only greenfield projects?

Most of our work has been inside systems that already existed, some of them a decade old. Taking over, extending and stabilising a live codebase — including legacy layers that still have to keep working — is the normal case rather than the exception.

What is Kikloper and why does it appear in your services?

Kikloper is our own SaaS product, monitoring server uptime, SSL certificates and domain expiry. It is in production with paying users. It serves two purposes here: it is the proof behind our SaaS architecture work, and it is the platform behind our Monitoring & Maintenance retainers.
